Starting on September 1st, pencils.com will be holding monthly Artist of the Month and Teacher of the Month contests. Both contests will start on the 1st of every month and end on the last day of that same month. The Artist of the Month contest will be done through our Facebook page. Drawings are to be done in pencil only (colored pencils are allowed). Take a picture of your drawing and post it on The Pencil Page and you will have a chance at winning a $25 Gift Certificate to the pencils.com store! Every month their will be a different topic; this month it is ‘Cars’. Draw any car(s) you would like to qualify for the Gift Certificate.

For our Teacher of the Month contest, write a touching or fun story about a current or former teacher and you will have a chance at winning. The winner of this contest will win a $10 Gift Certificate to the pencils.com store and the teacher that was written about will get a $25 Gift Certificate. We may change topic every month, so make sure that you check in to see what next months topic will be! The Teacher of the Month contest will be done through e-mail; send your story to teacherofthemonth@pencils.com and we will announce the winners on the 1st of the following month. Please be sure to keep your stories under 1 page in length.
