Our friends at the Pencil Museum in the UK are big supporters of pencil artists. They hold workshops, give away free products, and have many initiatives supporting creativity with pencils.

They recently featured Janie Pirie, a botanical artist, as their colored pencil artist of the year on their Facebook page. When we saw her work, we knew we had to showcase it to our followers. Her strawberry drawings, as seen here, are bright enough and look real enough to eat! Look at the light reflecting on the strawberries, and her expert use of color, especially on the unripened fruit.
