This week’s featured pencil artist is Jeff George, a color pencil artist and signature member of the Color Pencil Society of America. His color pencil art has been featured at a number of exhibitions up and down the west coast and has won numerous awards, earning him a spot as one of the premiere color pencil artists in the United States.

The subjects of Jeff’s drawings range from landscapes and dolphins to blue jeans and dilapidated trucks. His work calls upon the tradition of Americana art and infuses it with modern elements, resulting in a Nouveau Americana style that is entirely his own.

Regardless of the subject or genre of his art, Jeff’s skill as an artist is apparent in every drawing. From the wood grain on each tiny matchstick to the peeling paint on an old wooden door, no detail escapes the tip of Jeff’s color pencil. The result is some of the most vibrant and life-like color pencil art we have ever seen. If you want to see more of Jeff’s work, you can check out his website here.
