International Correspondence Writing Month 2017

Scattered Envelopes

Did you know that February is International Correspondence Writing Month?

International Correspondence Writing Month (or InCoWriMo for short) is a challenge to hand-write and mail a letter, card, note, or postcard every day throughout the month of February.

So how can you participate in InCoWriMo?

It’s really easy! Just write some sort of correspondence to someone every day for the month of February. You don’t have to write and send a letter every day, of course, but the goal is to have written and sent a total of 28 letters (or 29 during leap years) by the end of February.

Another way to participate is to use the hashtag #InCoWriMo on social media, and spread the word so that your friends can get in on the action.

Not sure where to start?
Well why not write us a letter telling us about your favorite pencil!  Send your letter to:

2385 Arch Airport Road
Suite 500
Stockton, CA 95206

I’ll be sure to write back to every letter we receive! Just make sure that your return address is neatly written.

Got any more questions?

Be sure to check out to learn more. While you’re there, be sure to check in on their map and take a look at all the others that are participating! If you’re out of addresses to write to, why not write to your local politicians, your local newspaper, or nonprofit organizations that you think are doing well and tell them you appreciate them! If you’re still running out of ideas of who to send letters to, InCoWriMo has created a handy list of 28 names and addresses of people and organizations that would love a letter from you.
