This new Matte Red colorway features a matte red finish, copper imprint, copper ferrule, and light gray eraser. It also features a “SOFT” graphite indicator stamp on the barrel. Blackwing Matte pencils come in a 12-pack gift box that also doubles as a pencil cup. The Blackwing Matte has the soft same graphite formulation as the since renamed “Palomino Blackwing.”
